INTRODUCTION TO elements of natural built environment

Elements of Natural Built Environment exposes students to two major components: the natural environment and the man-made built environment. This module allows students to understand the relationship bewteen these two environments. It is a academic learning module where students will be introduced to observation skills, data compilation, research and investigation, report preparation and presentation skills. This learning experience involves both indoor-outdoor exposure and individual-group projects.

Elements of Natural Built Environment is a module which allows students to have a deeper understanding of the natural environment and the built environment. With the upcoming projects and tasks, students will be prepared to step into the construction industry as architects or quantity surveyors. Students will be able to understand our living environment better

 

 

By the end of this module, students will be able to

 

1. Recognise and identify the different elements of the natural built environment.

2. Describe different characteristics of the natural and built environment by exploring basic elements.

3. Differentiate and compare different developments in the built environment 

4. Analyze and evaluate different development of the built environment
