

CONSTRUCTED LANDSCAPE
MODULE OUTLINE
Constructed Landscape is a module which introduces the basic fundamentals on landscape architecture fields with theories, basic principles and application into real work. Students will be prepared with knoledge on theoretical aspects such as landscape concepts, ideas, terminologies, hardscape and softscape palette, landscape graphics and basic constructions.
By the end of this module, students will be able to
1. Understand different types of landscape of landscape in the design environment
2. Students will also be able to recgonize and distinguish elements of landscape, such as softscape and hardscape of landscape architecture.
Module Outline:
Constructed Landscape is where architecture maximises the environment potential and creates a relationship between man-made landscaping and nature. Constructed Landscape is also known as landscape architecture where existing social, ecological, and geological conditions and processes in the landscape are analyzed. It will result in the design of interventions that will produce a desired outcome which benefits the public or customer (private).
