CULTURE & CIVILIZATION MODULE OUTLINE
Culture & Civilization is a learning platform where we research, understand and dig deeper to the roots of our ancestors, our previous generations or the history of the world we are living in. The culture of each country, race or religion differs from each other which shows and explain the diversity we live in. Such knowledge is important as a future architect as buildings and homes are mainly built for the comfort of people where culture and civilization plays a big role in deciding and planning a town, a city, an area, a building or even a home.

Understanding of the Module (Short Video):
Culture and Civilization is known as a module that exposes students to the roots of Western and Eastern countries. From prehistoric to present times, this module introduces students to the Western and Eastern culture and civilization throughout the centuries. Mankind has proven their case studies of these past generations with studies supported by archeological discoveries, ancient monuments, artworks, philisophy and the archievements of great leaders. From such case studies, students will learn and gain knowledge on the respective past issues and memorable historical events.
By the end if this module, students will be able to
1. Examine and understand the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western civilizations.
2. Investigate, enquire, apply and present information or case studies.
3. Describe the historical development of human civilization.
4. Develop data gathering skills and good presentation skills.
