JOURNAL REPORT

Project Introduction:

This is the first project given to us is an individual project and report. The journal report which is written based on the student's pass experience, feelings or anything related to thr concept which the student has chosen to write on. The journal report content can be written up to the student's free will.

Each journal report convey's only one psychological concept which has been taught during lecture lessons. It allows students to reflect on their personal experiences, on their thought about life and also shows them how these concepts are applied in their everyday lives.

The journal report is a normal written writing exercise in English which converts student's thoughts into words.

Concept: Social Facilitation & Social Loafing

A concept related to working as an individual and working with others

Concept: Charles Horton Cooley and The Looking-Glass Self

A concepts that is related to a person's self personality

Journal Report 3:

Concept: Self Fuifilling Prophecy

A concept related to the self where the self is affected by other's perception

Concept: Confirmation Bias

A concept related to the self and others where third parties are involved in each individual's respective perception

A concept which involves an individual social learning through observation fromothers

Reflection:

This report writing project is very useful for people like myself, who love to write and imagine. Social psychology is an interesting subject to study and learn yet it becomes even more interesting when it is applicable or relatable to real life situations. By implementing the concepts into the essay, we are able to further understand deeper meanings behind each of the concept. We are also able to remember the learned concepts because we are constantly practicing it in our daily lives.

Since the written essay is in English, it allows me to practice on my english too. This project has given me a chance to express some of my deepest thoughts in relation to my life experience, what I have seen and felt in real life. Before, everything has been a mysterious jumble of memories. However, after understanding the basics of human behavoiurs, it has given me an insight on what I have been through in the past.

Learning socialpsychology is like understanding yourself and the people around you better. While writing these reports, I have constantly reflected on my attitude and how I have reacted in situations. It turns out that understanding all these concepts have taught me to handle situations better and if I were in the same situation again, I would know how to react properly this time round.
