TUTORIAL QUESTIONS
Project Introduction:
Tutorial questions are given to us after each lecture classes.The prepared tutorial questions are exercises for us to complete so that we are sure of understanding the lecture clearly. Each tutorial question / tutorial sheet is made based on the topic taught in that lecture. We are required to complete the tuitorial questions in class and hand in to our lecturer.
Tutorial Questions 1:
Topic: Introduction to Business
The tutorial questions prepared are related to a general run through on what business is in the real world.
Tutorial Questions 2:
Topic: Starting a Small Business
The tutorial questions prepared are questions regarding the start up of small businesses in general
Tutorial Questions 3:
Topic: Business Ethics & Social Responsibilities
The tutorial questions prepared are questions on proper business ethics and social responsibilities of business men
Tutorial Questions 4:
Topic: Managing a Business & Organizing a Business
The tutorial questions prepared are split into two parts. The first part are questions regarding business management process while the second part are questions regarding a business organizational structure

Topic: Leading Your People
The tutorial questions prepared are related leadership and leading styles in running a business

Topic: Developing Marketing Strategies
The tutorial questions prepared are questions related to marketing strategies
Tutorial Questions 7:
Topic: Managing with Accounting Information
The tutorial questions prepared are questions related to a general view of accounting which is an essential to business.
All the tutorial answers were handed in after each and every lecture class to our lecturer.
Reflection:
As a student who has no contact or knowledge about business before taking this business course, I find the tutorial sheets prepared by my lecture very important. The tutorial sheets allows me to cross check and see if I am fully aware of what is going on in the lecture or if I fully understand the topic taught. Being able to complete the tutorial sheets prepared not only allows me to evaluate my understanding on the topic, it also allows myself to check on my progress. These tutorial sheets also come in handy before the business test where I can refer to sample questions to prepare myself.
From these exercises, I understand that studying and gaining knowledge is not only based on listening to lecture, it takes a lot of practice and exercise to fully understand what is going on.While completing these tutorial questions, I have not only referred to the lecture slides and notes that I have made, but also seasrched for additional information online. This was, I can gain extra knowledge by researching in order to understand the topic in depth. It allows and gives me a chance to determine if I understand the topic taught or not by identifying if the information I have searched for is a reliable source.
After completing the tutorial sheets, the lecturer goes through the tutorial answers with us too. In other words, when there are parts of the questions which I have got wrong or do not understand, this is a chance to ask and be corrected. This is a very suitable and effective way of learning in class.
In conclusion,I find tutorial sheets and tutorial questions very important because it allows us to fully understand the topic taught by cross checking through tutorial questions complestion. These tutorial sheets show how much a student understands the topic and gives a chance for students to question the lecturer about the topic learned in class.It is a shame for those who do not fully utilize these tutorial questions because they would not be able to gain extra knowledge or understand the topic in deeper depth.
